Calculizky is a financial management application that helps users efficiently track their income and expenses, providing a clear and detailed view of their finances from any device.
The problem to solve
Many people struggle with keeping an organized and clear track of their financial activities. While spreadsheets are reliable, they can be tedious, and existing financial apps often lack the customization and security users need. The solution required a platform that is accessible, intuitive, and secure to simplify everyday financial management.
Our solution
Calculizky provides an easy-to-use platform that allows users to quickly and efficiently record and categorize their income and expenses. With interactive charts and customizable budgeting tools, users can clearly visualize their finances and make informed decisions. The app also includes a dedicated section for managing credit card expenses called Tarjetizky and allows data export in .CSV and .XLSM formats. All of this is backed by secure authentication and encryption to protect users’ financial data.
Tech Stack
The frontend is built using React and Next.js to deliver a fast and efficient user interface, while the backend is powered by Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, with Prisma as the ORM to simplify data management. Authentication is handled by NextAuth.js, and the application is deployed on Vercel, with the database hosted on neon.tech.
